How to easily register a rental agreement?

1. Sign in
Open https://eds.vid.gov.lv/ and sign in to the system. In the website menu click "Dokumenti", then press the "Izveidot jaunu dokumentu" button.
2. Create the document
In the search field type "fiziskas" and select "Nodokļu maksātāja (fiziskas personas) reģistrācija...".
Select "Paziņotās saimnieciskās darbības veicējs" and click "Reģistrēties". Scroll down the page - the registration type you need, "Paziņotās saimnieciskās darbības veicējs", is the last one in the list. Select it and click "Reģistrēties". The document "Paziņotās saimnieciskās darbības veicēja reģistrācija" will open.
3. Fill in the document
For the start date of the activity period, enter the contract signing date. Add or keep the correct settlement account. In the contracts section, click "Pievienot".
In the contract subject, select "Nekustamais īpašums", and as the main activity choose - "6820 - Sava vai nomāta nekustamā īpašuma izīrēšana un pārvaldīšana", then fill in all required fields correctly.
4. Submit the document
Review the entered information and then click "Pārbaudīt un saglabāt". If there are no errors, you can click "Iesniegt". After submitting the document, make sure you pay taxes at the end of the year.
