How to declare your place of residence on the Latvija.lv portal?

Go to Latvija.lv and sign in to the portal. The login button is located in the top-right corner of the page.

You can find this service in the popular services section or by using the search bar located at the top of the page, to the left of your profile. Enter the name of the service and then select it from the list.

Read the terms of use, tick the checkbox, and click the "Request the service" button.

If you want to declare your residence for yourself, choose the option "For myself" and click "Next". If the service is needed for another person, choose the appropriate option from those provided.

After that, you will see the current information about the address that is presently registered as your place of residence. Click "Declare an address in Latvia" if the new address is in Latvia, or choose the second option if the address is abroad.

Carefully enter the details of the new address. Indicate the legal basis for the declaration, as well as your email address and phone number for contact.

Before submitting, check once again that all the information is correct. Then tick the confirmation checkbox and click the "Submit" button.
